It was designed to provide better quality, reliability and performance. It can hold up to 800GB native and 1.6TB with 2:1 compression. Transfer speeds can go up to 240MB/s and continues to use WORM support. It is compatible with all LTO Ultrium generation 4 tape drives and automation systems. The new design also includes a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for a reduction of errors and faster transfer rates.
